NYC Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Having lived and worked in Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York, Janice is drawn to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds using an open, collaborative and multicultural approach. She believes in adapting her techniques from multiple therapeutic methods to meet the unique needs of each client. As an immigrant, Janice wishes to create more openness and awareness surrounding mental health among Asian and immigrant populations.

Janice has an EdM and MA in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University and a BA in liberal arts with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Janice completed her graduate internship at the Actors Fund where she worked with clients from all backgrounds in the performing arts. She has a background working in television and radio prior to her work in mental health counseling. Janice speaks English and Korean.
